1. Shipping Coverage

Edu Shelf currently ships to all serviceable PIN codes across India. We use trusted logistics partners to ensure your books are delivered safely and on time. At checkout, you can verify if delivery is available to your PIN code.

2. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated and clearly displayed at checkout before you place your order. The final payable amount shown at checkout includes all applicable charges.

3. Estimated Delivery Timelines

Note: These are estimated timelines and may vary due to factors beyond our control such as weather conditions, public holidays, courier partner delays, or logistical issues. Business days exclude Sundays and public holidays.

4. Order Processing

• Orders are processed within 1-2 business days after placement
• Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day
• You will receive an order confirmation email/SMS with your order details and tracking information once dispatched

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you can track its status using your order number on our Track Order page. You will also receive tracking updates via email and SMS as your order progresses through shipping stages.

6. Delivery Attempts

• Our courier partners will make up to 2 delivery attempts at the shipping address provided
• If delivery fails after 2 attempts, the order will be returned to us
• For returned-to-origin (RTO) orders on COD, we will contact you to reschedule or cancel the order
• Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the package

7. Packaging

All books are carefully packed in protective packaging to prevent damage during transit. We use bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard to ensure your books arrive in perfect condition. For orders with multiple books, items may be shipped in a single or multiple packages depending on size and weight.

8. Pincode Serviceability

Delivery is available to most PIN codes across India. You can check serviceability by entering your PIN code during checkout. If your area is not serviceable, we recommend providing an alternate delivery address within a serviceable PIN code area.

9. Shipping Delays

While we strive to deliver on time, delays can occur due to:

• Natural disasters, floods, or extreme weather conditions
• National or regional holidays and festivals
• Government-imposed restrictions or lockdowns
• Courier partner operational issues
• Incorrect or incomplete address provided

In case of significant delays, we will proactively notify you and provide updated delivery estimates.

10. Damaged During Shipping

If your order arrives damaged during shipping, please report it within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged package and product. We will arrange a free replacement or full refund. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details.
